Do I need an official Minecraft account?+
No. On your first Java join, set a separate password with /reg PASSWORD. On later joins, use /login PASSWORD.

No. Link it for account access and sign-in confirmation if you enable that protection. Confirmation is mandatory for administrators.

Logging out within 15 seconds of a player's hit kills your character and drops your items. Wait until you have not been hit for 15 seconds.
